Reads fear, bitterness and insecurity - the internal condition behind how a person decides and leads.
Founded on 5 September 2015. Kufunga means to think - and the Foundation helps people, families and institutions do exactly that, with free tools to learn and programmes that build teams.
The Kufunga Foundation was founded on Saturday 5 September 2015 as a thought-driven developmental organisation for Zimbabwe and beyond. Kufunga means to think. It is the corporate social responsibility arm of Cabanga Africa Group, and it carries the Group's belief into the community: that people, families and institutions change when they learn to think clearly about themselves and their work.
Three instruments read as one diagnostic suite: the internal condition first, then decision behaviour, then fit.
Reads fear, bitterness and insecurity - the internal condition behind how a person decides and leads.
Measures premature action: the quality of decisions and how they are carried through to execution.
Reads fit for a commercial role, used only where a sales role is being examined.
The instruments are the way in, not the end product. What the Foundation delivers is an engagement, run for individuals, families, companies, churches and faith-based organisations, and NGOs and civil society - with confidential individual reports and, for institutions, an aggregate report agreed up front.
Each participant takes the instruments that apply.
The results are read against one another, not in isolation.
The pattern is named before anything is prescribed.
Guided development, training and team work aimed at the diagnosis.
The instruments are taken again to measure the change.
Pinda is the Foundation's free developer platform. Pinda is Shona for "come in" - the answer to a knock at the door. It holds a library of 4,000 copy-and-run snippets in Python, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and an eight-module course that takes a beginner to junior full-stack developer. There is no account and no fee: the knowledge is not hoarded.
The Foundation runs team building as training and activity together: communication, strategy, operations, sales and everything else it takes to build a team that works. Programmes run for companies, churches, NGOs and institutions, on site or off site.
Take an instrument, open Pinda, or call the Foundation in to work with your people.
The Foundation is the Group's corporate social responsibility arm. The Group and Cabanga Platforms back its work, and Cabanga Platforms built Pinda for it.
