Frequently Asked

Circulation and Reach

Which African countries does Cabanga circulate in?

Twenty-four. Circulation runs through the twelve regional editions, each covering its own market or group of markets, from South Africa to North Africa.

What is the difference between circulation and reach?

Circulation is where the magazines are distributed - 24 countries. Reach is where editorial leadership and contributors are drawn from - 28 countries.

Which magazine serves my country?

Each of the twelve editions serves a named market. The table on this page lists every edition against the market it serves.

Can one advertisement run in every country?

Yes. All twelve editions share one page specification, so a single set of artwork runs unaltered in any edition or in all twelve at once.

In Order

How To Read The Three Numbers

  1. Twelve is the number of operating markets. Each has its own edition, its own masthead and its own editorial leadership.
  2. Twenty-four is the number of countries of circulation. This is where the editions are distributed, which is wider than where they are produced.
  3. Twenty-eight is the number of countries of reach. This is where editorial leadership and contributors are drawn from, and it is the widest of the three.
  4. The three numbers are not interchangeable, and Cabanga does not report the largest one as though it were the smallest. A media buyer should price against twelve and twenty-four.
